Albertvale

LUSH GARDEN: As can be seen in the photo below, Albertvale was once a dry desolate farm. Now, however, mainly through the efforts of the farmer's wives, the garden is lush and green, a perfect refuge from the hot summer sun.

DUSTY FARM: An aerial view of Albertvale before the garden was transformed. The building in the centre was once the inn while the one on the right was the stables for the stagecoach horses.

PLANT FRAME:​ Visitors to the Bedford Garden Festival are framed by an ivy in the garden at Albertvale.

SURPRISE SUNDIAL: All over the garden visitors will discover unexpected delights such as this sundial.

DELICATE FLOWERS: All over the garden clumps of delicate flowers come together to create the impression of an English country garden.​

LUSH PARADISE: Albertvale's garden is a lush, well-kept garden filled with a wide variety of flowers, shrubs and trees.
